I stirred awake on a cold January morning gripping the threads of a fading dream. A dream of wilderness, wildness, of woodworking. Nothing new for me, except that in this dream, I had been crafting something I can best describe as wooden photographs.
I want to share them with you. Places I've been, places I've loved; pine and poplar dreamscapes.

Not departing too far from the tactile experience of woodcarving, etching landscapes, feelings, dreams into linoleum blocks to create prints--different each time--is a way to experience this inspiration over and over again.
